The Role
A Series B HR-technology company is hiring a Lead Full-Stack Engineer to head a squad of five building real-time collaboration features used by thousands of hiring teams. Fully remote within US time zones, with quarterly on-sites and genuine ownership of architecture decisions.
What You'll Do
- Lead design and delivery of real-time pipeline features across TypeScript, React and Node
- Set engineering standards for testing, observability and incident response
- Coach four engineers through regular 1:1s, growth plans and code reviews
- Partner with product on roadmapping, estimation and scope trade-offs
- Drive performance work that keeps dashboards instant at enterprise scale
What You'll Bring
- 7+ years building production web applications, 2+ leading projects or people
- Deep experience with React, Node.js and relational databases
- A track record of mentoring engineers and raising team quality bars
- Clear async communication — writing is your default medium
Compensation & Process
$175,000 base plus meaningful equity, unlimited PTO (minimum 15 days), health, dental and vision from day one, and a $3,000 equipment budget. Process: recruiter screen, hiring-manager deep dive, system-design interview, then a virtual on-site — offer within ten days of applying.
